Creating Endless Possibilities For Inner City Youth

We had an amazing night on April 14th at our Premiere 2018 Fundraising Gala! The Painting Pictures message was loud and clear as we heard from youth who have been directly impacted by the program. The importance of mentorship and exposure for inner-city youth was emphasized and gala attendees left feeling inspired and motivated to be a part of the change. It also was a night of fun, dancing, raffle drawings of Apple Tv’s, 50 inch televisions, gift certificates and so much more.

We are humbled by the tremendous acts of generosity that has advanced the organization’s mission of "Creating Endless Possibilities For Inner-City Youth". We would like to thank our sponsors, donors, and Gala attendees, for making our first Gala a memorable occasion and an all-around special event.

Look out for more information as we plan the 2019 Gala.

The youth of Painting Pictures Incorporated participated in a day of outdoor adventure-based learning at the Princeton Blairstown Center. The Blairstown Campus - 264 acres of pristine wilderness in the Delaware Water Gap of New Jersey - provided our young people with challenges both physical and intellectual to bring out the best in them! Through a hike to explore waterfalls, adventure courses, and canoeing Panting Pictures Inc. participants learned problem-solving skills, providing them with tools that they can take back to the classroom or the streets of Newark to approach real-life challenges. Youth also learned how to collaborate and communicate better with their peers, while also gaining greater self-awareness and self-confidence. Although some participants were concerned about the bugs, bees and the potential of black bears, at the end they found it to be a rewarding and fun day!

Heading to Africa

Last year Painting Pictures exposed a group of young people to Arizona's beautiful Grand Canyon. This trip proved to be an amazing and eye opening experience that participant's are still talking about with a glow on their faces. This year, Painting Pictures Inc. is preparing to take it to the next level by exposing participants to an international experience; Cape Town Africa. We are excited to provide our youth the opportunity to meet with local non-profit organizations & non-governmental organizations for experiential learning, tour Cape Town and surrounding areas, visit local schools as part of culture diversity learning, and of course experience the amazing South African Safari - what is a trip to Africa without experiencing its wildlife; a lion's mane at sunset, zebras drinking in unison, and elephants with ears extended. We are certain that this will be a life changing experience, but we need your help! Read more about how you can assist us with raising the necessary funds to make this endeavor possible through our upcoming Bowlathon Fundraiser, 180 degree Campaign, or by making a one-time donation.
